Pear, Olive and Cheese Crostini

  1. Lay each pear on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, drizzle with vinegar and bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
  2. Brush the bread slices with olive oil and bake at 375 until golden and slightly crispy, then cool.
  3. Mix together the tapenade, remaining oil and vinegar, and season to taste.
  4. Coat the toast slices with the cheese, top with the tapenade and pear slices, garnish with thyme and more balsamic if desired.
  5. Plate and serve.
