Pear, Olive and Cheese Crostini

Ingredients
- 1 ea baguette, 1/2-inch slices
- 3 T olive oil
- 1/2 C olive tapenade
- 1 ea pear, thin slice, skin on
- 3 t Balsamic vinegar
- 3 oz goat or cream cheese
- 2 T fresh thyme, chopped
Instructions
- Lay each pear on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, drizzle with vinegar and bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
- Brush the bread slices with olive oil and bake at 375 until golden and slightly crispy, then cool.
- Mix together the tapenade, remaining oil and vinegar, and season to taste.
- Coat the toast slices with the cheese, top with the tapenade and pear slices, garnish with thyme and more balsamic if desired.
- Plate and serve.
